The Teen Workshops, in existence since 1996, serves teens with and without disabilities. Teens are taught by professional artists, in a gallery setting, through a series of workshops, each twelve-hours. Thirteen teens are accepted in each workshop, keeping sessions small, thus insuring teens the opportunity to learn about new art forms and exposing them to the diverse backgrounds and abilities of a variety of peers, with and without disabilities.
By hosting small groups of teens with and without disabilities in intensive visual arts workshops, participants have excellent access to the professional artists who are teaching and one-on-one learning experiences.
