About the supervising artist: Linda Bergstrom

20180612 111836 1

Linda spent her childhood in central Wyoming and now lives in Bluffdale with her husband and daughters on a small hobby farm. She enjoys raising chickens, bees, and her three alpacas. She uses their fibers for spinning yarn, and she runs a small artisan goods business. Sher teaches "Art at the Farm" classes for children ages 5 and up, which includes plenty of interaction with the alpacas!

She has taught art for 17 years, 11 years in her private studio, and 6 years in the school system. An accomplished artist, Linda has displayed her art in various galleries in Utah, and Santa Fe. She thrives on unusual techniques, including watercolor combined with alkyd oil and glass paints. The flow of the paint creates the strata and natural depth of the landscape of the southwest and Utah. Her greatest joy comes from creating art and crafts and helping students feel connected to nature through their art.
