Kiln-Formed Glass with Sarinda Jones

 

Get into glass with this fun and creative glass-making workshop. Weather you're delving into glass for the first time, or SconceSmbrushing up on your skills, we'll explore many of the basics of kiln-formed glass and practice each technique creating several small projects.

ABOUT THE TEACHING ARTIST:

Sarinda Jones is a multi media artist with a background in fine art and art history. She studied at the internationally renowned Pilchuck Glass School, as well as North Lands Creative Glass in Scotland. An award-winning artist, Sarinda shows her work internationally and has been commissioned to create a variety of glass sculpture pieces for private and commercial patrons. She currently sits as a board member of the Salt Lake Arts Council for Public Art, since 2009. Sarinda was recently a teachers assistant to Steve Klein at Corning Museum of Glass in Corning, NY in Feb. 2014.
